Pilates with Carrie takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting your personal information. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information when you use our services. We will not use or share your information with anyone, except as described in this privacy policy.
Pilates with Carrie operates the website www.pilateswithcarrie.com
Any information you give us is used exclusively by Pilates with Carrie for the purpose of ensuring the safe practice of Pilates by our instructors or guest instructors. We do not share any personal information with any third parties, nor will we rent, sell, disclose or distribute your information to any outside parties unless required to do so by law.
In order to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that came into effect on 25th May 2018 I am required to tell you:
Why I need your data:
I ask you to complete a Health Questionnaire which includes:
Your name and contact details so I can let you know if there are any changes to the classes.
Basic, relevant health information so I can ensure the class is safe and effective and inform any healthcare providers if you were unwell whilst at the class.
I will not share you data with anyone except healthcare professionals in the case of an emergency.
How I store your data:
Health Questionnaires are stored electronically in my booking system. I store your personal mobile telephone number in my mobile phone Contacts List so I can send you information relating to changes to the classes.
The devices where your data are stored are password protected.
What I would do if there was a breach of data protection rules:
If any of your data was compromised I would inform you immediately.
How long I keep your data:
I will keep your data until you ask me to return it, or destroy it as appropriate. Otherwise I will destroy the Health Questionnaire one year after you have stopped attending classes. At this time I will delete your details from my Contacts List.
